In all of our ministries, we seek to foster a consistently Reformed and Biblical emphasis upon the inter-generational character of the church as a body of professing Christian households. In addition to Sabbath worship, mid-week prayer meetings, and neighborhood outreach, the Lord has called us to engage in various other Bible-based ministries, including:
- Theological Foundations Afternoon (TFA), a monthly theological lesson time, aimed at our high school and college/career demographic, yet regularly attended by folks of all ages. You can learn more about this ministry (and listen to recorded lessons) by clicking HERE.
- Catechism and Bible Memory, a weekly Sabbath tutorial for our younger baptized members, aimed at reinforcing parental instruction using the Bible, the Shorter Catechism, and the Book of Psalms for Worship. [Our 2016 catechism memorization plan (Year 1 of 5) is available HERE.]
- Ladies in Prayer (L.I.P.), which meets each month for prayer and is presently working through a book study on Holiness by J.C. Ryle.
- Men’s Summer Discipleship Group, a mid-week summer book study and practical discipleship forum led by Pastor Kuehner, aimed at preparing our single men (18+) for future leadership as husbands, fathers, and churchmen. Since its inception, the group has studied several books, including:
The Westminster Larger Catechism: A Commentary by J. G. Vos (2012)
Contentment, Prosperity, and God’s Glory by Jeremiah Burroughs (2013)
Gospel Assurance and Warnings by Paul Washer (2014)
A Theology of the Family by Various Authors (2015)
